| The Ascension handled ascender is our choice for a lightweight yet powerful rope climbing system. The action is easy to use with gloves (which we recommend) and the cam has a very positive grip due to the aggressive tooth pattern. We use the Ascension in conjunction with a Petzl foot loop.
This rope grab is not appropriate for use in fall protection and will damage ropes if loaded dynamically. It accommodates 8-13 mm diameter ropes. Individually tested for single person loads. |
