| The Podium work seat is a harness-mounted platform that provides a stable and comfortable seat while working in suspension. It is fully compatible with the Ropeworks harness, and may be added to the harness while the technician is suspended. We find the Podium to be one of the most useful tools for work to be done while hanging, as it allows for a level of comfort and convenience beyond that found in any harness by itself.
This platform is suitable for work involving alternate periods of suspension on a rope and walking. It features a wide seat for stability and leg mobility. Rigid side edges help prevent the webbing straps cutting into the thighs. It comes with three easily accessible equipment loops. The Podium allows for easy adjustment with the DoubleBack buckles. It is also compatible with the Navajo Complet, Navajo Vario, and Falcon harnesses. The seat is easily positoned on the back when not in use for ease of walking or edge transitions. |
