2009 SPRAT Annual Conference

The Society of Professional Rope Access Technichians 2009 Annual Conference will be hosted by Ropeworks in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area this coming January 8 - 10, 2009. The event will take place at the Sienna Hotel Spa & Casino in Reno, NV. The Annual Conference provides a great opportunity for rope access professionals to get together, establish policies, discuss practices and share ideas. The Standards Committee meeting will be scheduled for Thursday afternoon, January 8th. Friday morning will start off with the Annual Business Meeting and move into various presentations on exciting rope access projects, equipment and developments within the industry.

On Saturday conference attendees will have the opportunity to visit the Ropeworks National Training Center and test their rope access skills in the 2nd annual Rope Access Olympics. So feel free to bring your rope access kit, Ropeworks will also have kits available to use for the event. Ropeworks will be offering rope access training courses with the chance to become SPRAT certified the week prior to the SPRAT Conference as well as the week following. Level 1 training and certification will be held January 4 - 8, 2009. Level 2 and 3 training and certification will be held January 12 - 16, 2009.
